With a solar arrangement and wind arrangement on the energy roof, a Holzpellet heating and a modern ground water cooling system to control the heating of the rooms, the hotel Victoria is a zero emissions house and uses exclusively regenerative energy.
Situated in the heart of Freiburg it takes only a few walking minutes to the central station and the historical Old Town. The ideal starting point for excursions to the Black Forest, shopping or sport. In spite of the central position the rooms at the hotel are quiet.
The reception is open 24 hours . Check in from 15:00 o'clock, departures at 11:00 o'clock. Because the hotel has won several awards for its environment protection, it offers interested guests a guided tour of the house. On this occasion the guests can learn what is done at the hotel for the environmental protection and how they can contribute with her stay a little bit to it. Two bicycles are available to the guests. The hotel sauna is open from 18:00 o'clock to 23:00 o'clock. In the hotel's inner courtyard there are 13 parking bays and four garages. Only the garages can be pre-booked. Likewise in the inner courtyard there is a "stream filling station " for electric cars.
The Best Western Premire Hotel Victoria is a Garni hotel. There is breakfast Mon-Fri from 06:30 o'clock to 10:30 o'clock, Saturday from 7:00 o'clock to 11:00 o'clock and Sunday from 7:30 o'clock to 11:00 o'clock. Numerous different restaurants are to be reached in close proximity. In the hotel are two cocktail bars " Hemingway" and "Smoker lounge", located in the historical vaulted cellar. Here you can choose from more than 130 different, fresh cocktails. Both bars are open daily from 18:00 o'clock to 02:00 o'clock.
The hotel itself disposes of a small gym with personal trainer. Tennis courts, golf courses and football pitches are to be reached from the hotel easily. The Freiburg municipal theatre can be reached within only 5 walking minutes.
The hotel Victoria has 66 rooms. In 2009 the rear part of the hotel was completely renovated and equipped with a small wellness area with sauna, gym and relaxation zone. In summer 2010 the historical front building, from the year 1875, was also renovated and the rooms were equipped with high-quality Ökotex materials like in the back building. All rooms are non-smoking
